ANTHONY CANNARELLA
PRESIDENT

Anthony Cannarella, President has worked in general construction for over 30 years and has been at PROTECH since it’s inception in 1993. He began as the company’s vice-president and took over as president in 2003. Mr. Cannarella learned the construction business from the ground up and has worked in all aspects of the industry. Throughout his career he has managed a variety of multimillion dollar projects for both public and private sector clients throughout the United States including numerous Federal Government construction and renovation projects at Fort McPherson, Fort Gillem, Dobbins AFB in Atlanta, the Carl Vinson Veterans Administration Medical Center in Dublin, Georgia as well as projects in different locations for the National Park Service and the Centers for Disease Control. Mr. Cannarella acts as a project principal and is involved in design, estimating and project management.

GERALD SPENCER, PE
OPERATIONS MANAGER

Gerald Spencer, PE, Operations Manager has been with PROTECH Contractors, Inc. for 5 years. He has more than 25 years of experience as a practicing professional engineer in the State of Georgia . His experience includes general construction, environmental assessments, contamination investigations, asbestos and lead paint consulting and removal, management of numerous municipal infrastructure improvements, and technical writing in support of project funding and feasibility assessments. Gerald Spencer attended the University of Wisconsin at Madison and received his degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering in 1971. He is a U.S. Air Force veteran with a tour in Vietnam in 1968/1969. He began his professional career in Georgia in 1971 and, in 1976, became a registered professional engineer in Georgia . Mr. Spencer is also a registered engineer in Florida and was previously registered in Kentucky and Colorado and with the National Council of Engineering Examiners in Clemson , South Carolina.
